Protagonist

Mark Williams was an ordinary man, working in a distribution warehouse. His only escape was crosswords. Every lunchtime he would sit in St James' Park and fill in the crossword of the daily newspaper. That was until one day when the answers to the crossword led him to meet with a mysterious young lady along the bank of the Thames.

Prime Minister

After being elected in 2015, Prime Minister Henry White has implemented affordable housing for all; eliminating homelessness nationwide. He has also reduced child obesity by 30% and adjusted both maternity and paternity leave to 52 weeks. This has made him one of the most popular Prime Ministers ever. However, this latest 'Controllers' issue may be too large for even him to handle.

Head of MI5

After working in the SAS for 17 years, James Harrison's next position was as the head of the MI5. He has been scrutinised in the past for altercations with the President of the United States, though continued to serve. He claims that there is very little intelligence on the so-called 'Controllers', though many people speculate that he knows more than he declares.
