Use

In order to ensure that our work conformed to the conventions of a trailer in the postmodern genre, we emulated what we had seen through our research.

Conventions were developed to ensure that our film did not conform to all conventions and so would interest audiences.

To make our trailer original and exciting, we challenged many of the forms found in real media texts.
